Scholarship Benefits
The University of Lincoln Pakistan Scholarship is aimed at supporting high-achieving postgraduate students from across Pakistan. This scholarship is valued at £5,000.
Eligibility
Therefore, in order to apply for this scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Pakistan
- Already hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in 2020/21
- Have been awarded 60% or more overall from a four year Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to a 2:2)
- Meet the English language requirements of their intended course of study – this typically ranges from an IELTS 6.0 – 7.0 or equivalent
Note: In addition to meeting the above residency, academic, and English language requirements, candidates must also complete a Pakistan Scholarship Application Form (PDF) and submit this intscholarships@lincoln.ac.uk. Meanwhile, it is important that we receive your application by 4 pm (UK time) on one of the following closing dates;
For Courses commencing in September/October 2020
- First Round: Saturday 25 April 2020
- Second Round: Thursday 25 June 2020
- Third Round: Friday 7 August 2020
For Courses commencing in January/February 2021
- First Round: Friday 2 October 202
- Second Round: Friday 13 November 2020
Selection Process
However, it is important to note that this scholarship is extremely competitive and will only be awarded to candidates who demonstrate achievement in academia, extracurricular, or personal endeavors. Also, the above will be assessed by completing a 300-word statement as part of the Scholarship Application Form.
Similarly, the University endeavours to notify all candidates of the outcome of their scholarship application prior to the deadline or within 10 working days of the closing date.

Supporting Documents: No additional documents would be asked by the university but there is a possibility of asking at the time of admission.
